Researchers also confirmed the existence of a SECOND Earth in the Proxima Centauri System. The planet, like Earth, is believed to have oceans and may be home to alien life.

There have been thousands of exoplanets discovered in the universe, but none equate to Proxima B.

Proxima B, as it’s been called, has a lot of potential: it’s most definitely mountainous, a little bigger than Earth, and it’s in a region near its star where liquid water may still be present on its surface.

THE EXPERTS IN RESEARCH

They claim to have discovered a planet in the Proxima Centauri constellation, one of Earth’s closest stars, that could contain liquid water and alien life.

The world, known as Proxima B, is determined to be 1.3 times the size of Earth and to have the ideal temperature for water to stay liquid on its surface.

Since Proxima B is four light-years away from Earth, or more than 25 trillion miles, future generations would need to invent a super-fast spaceship capable of flying to the Next Centauri System in order to meet it in the far future.

If the planet turns out to be “a second Earth,” it may be one of the most exciting destinations for potential human discovery.

According to science, the temperature of the planet’s atmosphere could be anywhere between -90 and 30 degrees Celsius.

PROXIMA B

Proxima B, according to the experts, may be the greatest chance we’ve ever had to discover DIRECT signs of alien lifeforms in our solar system.

Others have called the planet “a second Earth” because it is located at a distance from its host star that allows liquid water to remain, suggesting that life as we know it is most likely to exist.

Proxima B is the closest exoplanet we’ve discovered. And scientists say a visit to the planet to look for signs of life may be possible within our lifetimes.

While the distance between our planet and Proxima B seems to be insurmountable. It is far shorter than the distance between most candidates for life on the host. As a result, Proxima B will one day become the first interstellar destination.
